5 Haywood / Mahimi?

Little old at the 3 and 1 with Kidd, and Mahimi is still a little raw.

If these guys stay healthy, I can see the Mavs making the playoffs again. Haywood and Mahimi will have to step it up, and we'll have to cross our fingers that Kidd, Marion and Carter can squeeze another productive year out of those old bodies.

Mavs are shopping Fernandez.

Actually now they are saying Rudy is seeking a buyout to stay in Spain.

Brewer and Brandon Wright will contribute at the 3 and 4. And Cardinal is back

They were also shopping Brewer.

The goal behind shopping Brewer and Fernandez was to create a larger MLE to sign Carter. But they were able to sign him anyway. Now Fernandez is waffling on where to play this year - stay in Spain or demand to play with one of his Spanish buddies teams.

Mavs made dwights short list of teams...only issue is finding players to trade.

You should market that as a bumper sticker.

I guess the two deep now is more like:

1 Kidd / West
2 Terry / Roddy
3 Carter / Marion
4 Dirk / Odom
5 Haywood / Mahimi (for now anyway)

An interesting lineup would be Terry/Marion/Odom/Dirk/Haywood.

Many different scoring options, and scary long.

Also Kidd/Terry/Odom/Dirk/Haywood if you want a little more offensive structure at the point.

This line up is so versatile. I think Terry and Marion coming off the bench gives you more options since they can both play so many different positions.

I'd also love to make a one year offer to Joel Pryzbilla to see if you could add another 5.

Delonte/Carter : Terry
Odom : Marion

How much cap space will we have for 2012??? And do you guys think we re-sign JET next summer?

I didn't realize Delonte West was that good. I guess both he and Odom could start.

That's not a bad 8 man rotation: Kidd, West, Odom, Dirk, Haywood, Jet, Carter and Marion.

2012 will definitely be interesting with all the cap space we will have.
