Luckily, it seems they caught this before it got really bad. He should be able to play next year.

I guess Presti made the right decision.

I've always liked Green, ever since he was at Georgetown. He may have underachieved as an NBA player so far, but I think he's a legit NBA player; whether that is as a starting player I don't know, but he definitely deserves a spot as a SF/PF coming off the bench. He's a good player and I hope this doesn't set him back.

And I hope that Perkins can fill the void that the Thunder hoped he could. He has his own injury concerns (albeit not life threatening, just career threatening). That trade at this point could work out poorly for either side.

I had this surgery in 2005. Good luck to him.

It seems that an unusual number of NBA players have heart problems at a young age.

I would guess it's related to height.

Damn. Now Chuck Hayes. His condition caused the Kings to void the $21MM contract....

^That *****literally made me sad. Roy, Green, now Hayes. Basically three of the nicest guys in the league.

Hate this...he wasn't gonna fit into OKC's plan, but super nice guy and a good player. Best of luck to him.
