I'm looking to pick some up for the Mavs game in March. Are winning bids typically much lower than the asking price? Just wondering if I can get them cheaper on Flashseats than Stubhub. thanks

Plenty of times. I would say I win tickets at my bid price probably about 35% of the time. Just depends on the seller. Some are season ticket holders who just want at least something for the ticket.

The additional fees are a little annoying on top of the ticket price, but no different then Stub Hub. The convenience can't be beat. You just give them your DL or credit card (I give them my DL) at the door, they swipe it, and print out your tickets then and there.

As for the margin between winning bids and asking price, its varies a lot. I sold Watch the Throne tickets last month for $75.00 less than my asking price (and $50 less than retail).

Best score I had was two first deck Rihanna tickets for $35.00 each when they were retailing for $75.00. Don't ask why I bought them.

HNIC is right. The convenience cannot be beat, only headache is the $20 or so convenience charge they tack onto it.
