What a little whiney baby! Your team just won a huge game on a final shot of the game. Get over yourself dude! Enjoy being on a winning team and celebrate with your teammates, maybe then they won't hate you like you claim they do.

I'm getting tired of this guys act, and it has nothing to do with his reality show or his wife, unless this is somehow just a shitstorm they are creating for the drama of the show.

And I guess I should clarify, I hope he does. I want him to get it together and bring his best game, but if he can't enjoy a team win and a compliment from his coach I don't think any amount of locker room vibes will help. He needs to at least be a professional and play hard.

LO may be one of the ten most talented guys in the league, but he is a head case of epic proportions. He needs a Kobe to keep him in line. I don't think Dallas has anyone like that. Also having an even crazier friend on the team (Meta) seems to help.

I still don't understand why the Lakers gave him away. Mike Brown didn't think he was important, but then Mike Brown is a ****ing moron. Even if he had sulked on the bench until April, eventually Kobe would have gotten in his head and he could have really helped during the playoffs. At this rate though, maybe Dallas will just cut him and he can resign with LA.

I hate it when people say that. Odom is not "talented". He is athletic and has a good body. But, he doesn't have anywhere close to elite basketball skills.

Odom has always had incredible basketball skills. He can run the floor, rebounds well, can shoot the three, handles the ball well, can post up, can defend. But he is ****ing stupid. He has all the talent to be one of the best players in the NBA, but he has more talent than brains and you need both.

He can't handle the ball well, actually (he's averaged 3.5 turnovers per game the last 3 years, even though he doesn't even handle the ball that much). He's a 30% shooter from 3P range career wise. He does run the floor well and rebound, but those are mostly due to his athletic gifts. He can play good defense sometimes, other times he doesn't. It's not like he's a lockdown artist -- if the matchup is right he can give people fits. His body is capable of defending 4 positions, but he doesn't.

Again, mental problems. He has the ABILITY. He doesn't execute because he is dumb. Same as Metta World Artest. Dude could shut down anyone anytime, but has too many mental lapses.

To me, if you make mistakes handling the ball, that makes you a bad ball handler. If you make mistakes on defense when you shouldn't, that's being a bad defender. I guess that's just a difference of opinion.

He has the ability. A lot of guys don't. Odom has the ABILITY to be one of the most complete players in the NBA. He doesn't have the marbles.

Avery Johnson never had the ABILITY to be one of the best PGs in the NBA.

The talent is there. He just can't connect the dots.

Seems like that's the difference between college and pro sports. Pro sports are where idiots with all the athletic talent in the world find out how they're really not that great, and guys with brains and a great work ethic break through.

Zen Buddha had Odom bringing up the ball a lot in the triangle offense. he could handle the ball.

According to the new CBA, i was told the Lakers saved somewhere around $30+MM by trading Odom + his cap space + the TE

for a 6th man who demanded to be traded? yeah, the Lakers did really good actually.

Actually.....I don't know that he's necessarily stupid. If he were dumber, he might be better off. He's a guy that thinks too much imho. I think he's a guy that's got a pretty good basketball IQ, but he just thinks too much.

I think I'd be a little distraught if I had married the ugly Kardashian.

I'm still optimistic. It's still early. Hopefully he'll be in good shape soon, and will build up his confidence. There are a lot worse places he could have ended up. You would think a locker room like Dallas would be perfect for him.

Exactly, he is lazy and stupid, therefore he hasn't taken the time to develop elite level basketball skills nor elite level feel for the game and relies on his athletic gifts to get by.
