Well I mean it says a lot about their corporate culture when they fired their head coach mid-season because their second year center is a spoiled little brat. It's pretty clear from the top down that organization is a mess. The Maloofs don't want to be in Sac-town anymore, so if they aren't actively sabotaging their own product, they are at the very least creating an untenable situation through indifference. I feel really, really bad for the fans in Sacramento for being treated to this garbage. That fan base deserves better.
During the broadcast Followill mentioned something that should make us in Dallas feel very, very fortunate. The Kings and Mavs both started their rise in the NBA at around the same time, in the late 90's. But while the Mavs have survived numerous makeovers and still continue to be a dominant force in the West going on over a decade now, the Kings have descended into a pile of poo for a good long time now. I think that says a lot to ownership and the type of man that Mark Cuban is/has become.
