For a guy that's playing hurt and should be beginning his downward slide by now, he's been money the last week or so. Nobody could have predicted he;d be leading the league in scoring all things considered. Most importantly, he's scoring and they're winning.

I'll admit I thought the Mike Brown hire was a bomb initially, but they're playing better D than they have in years. They'll need to to win anything of consequence.

As much as I would have liked seeing Chris Paul in purple and gold, I think the Lakers have a better chance with Gasol and Bynum. Had that trade gone through, their hopes would fall on the gimpy knees of Bynum because they would have had NOTHING down low if he went down.

Hated losing Odom(especially inthe way it happened), but as the Mavs can now attest to, he's as moody and inconsistent as his in-laws.

Look tired and old. They need Blake back badly.

I still love browns defense. But his offense is awful.

Blake.. lol. He was AWFUL against the Mavs in the playoffs last year, he was arguably one of our best players. Was that an aberration or is he actually more than a 4th string PG?

indeed. they lost to the Pacers for only the second time in history at Staples.

last week Andrew Goudelock and Darius Morris were in the backcourt together. i had a flashback to Smush Parker

That being said, Bynum is one of 3 players in the league averaging 16ppg, 13rpg, and looks great until he goes down with an injury. and Kobe has blown everyone's expectations out of the water with a league leading 30.5ppg.

if i had to guess i'd say Kobe is making on more run at another MVP trophy. and once Gasol gets shipped out for Deron Williams, the Lakers will be back in shape.

The Nets are willing to let Deron's contract play out to attempt to sign both Howard and Williams next season. Don't think they will trade him.
