i'll admit it on Terry, the ******* just always makes clutch shots and can kill you (who wouldn't want that on their team), but he waves his arms more than Kay Carpenter did while at A&M, and has done some dirty crap in the past on the floor that hasn't helped his image.

Agreed. He has been very clutch. Always seems to hit big shots against the spurs. But that doesn't change my mind about the way he acts.

I occasionally have a problem with Westbrook's play. However, he's a young PG and has what, at a minimum 6 years of basketball till he loses a step?

On that note, he has to take some of the shots he does. Durant is a superstar, but has problems getting open sometimes due to his slight build. I think Westbrook looks for Durant when it makes sense. He's also good enough to create his own looks. He is still very young and when he figures out how to balance the two, people will start threads like these *****ing about how Westbrook just torched their team.

If I was that much of an athletic freak, I'd act however the hell I wanted.

They're both great scorers and easily the two best on their team. Of course, they're going to take a high number of shots. One night it will be Durant. The next it will be Westbrook.

And just to nail it home even more, Durant shot 37% (including 1 for 5 from three) last night compared to Westbrook's 46%. Get over it.

Yes, Durant is the better player, but Westbrook is elite as well. It's not crazy for him to take 24 shots in one night. The ignorance some people have regarding the dynamic of the Thunder is strong.

Westbrook has never really bothered me. I like watching him play, he's lightning quick.

Dallas being taunted last year only served as fuel for some great post-season play, so that doesn't really bother me either.

Yep. It was a great series, hard to believe it only went 5 games. Definitely want to see round 2 this year.

it reminded a lot of OKC's series against Denver, it only went 5 but the Nugs gave the Thunder everything, a couple of those games coulda gone either way.

I may be wrong, but I think westbrook was a shooting guard in college, not a PG. I think that is one of the main reasons why he plays like he does sometimes, and has a tendency to shoot more than some of the true point guards.

UCLA basically ran a two combo-guard back court with him and Collison. There was really no true point guard. I think Afflalo was back there too. Throw in Kevin Love and yeah, they were stacked.

Of course, as Ags we already knew that.

They both act silly. However...

JET's basketball IQ is outstanding. Westbrook is smart as a rock.

I would hope so, he's only been in the league about a decade longer (maybe not that long, but let's Russ grow up a bit)

The Westbrook hate is unreal. He may not be the most pass friendly PG in the game, but what team wouldn't want a guy averaging 22 points/game, 6 assists, 5 boards, and 2 steals. Once this kid lowers his turnovers he will be unreal. I love the kid and can't wait for them to whip Dallas in the playoffs this year.

Your argument doesnt hold weight. Jason Terry is a shooting guard, and his whole job is to come in and take those shots. Westbrook is your PG, with a streaky jumpshot. If I'm the other team, I want him taking that shot all day.
Same goes for James, you make these guys jumpshooters. Sometimes the best thing is when they make some early, and think this game will be different.
