At the beginning of the season, I swore Baylor would be final 4 material and be one of my top picks for NC contenders. I still think they easily have all of the skill necessary, and if they weren't in Kentucky's bracket, would probably have put them there. I still see them beating out Duke and wouldn't be too surprised to see the big upset either.

I had both Mizzou and Duke losing in the Sweet 16, so hopefully I'm not completely screwed. We'll see how the rest of the weekend plays out

Working on phase 2 of my bracket from one of the tourney pools I am in. Need advice.

Phase 1 - rounds 1-3
Phase 2 - sweet 16 onward

I am in the middle of the pack scoring wise so I need to make up some ground and not play it completely safe.

I am thinking about:
Kentucky
Marquette
Ohio State
Kansas

Kentucky vs. Ohio State
Champion: Kentucky

any suggestions? or sleepers you like?

If you're looking for the high-risk high-reward type play: I'm going with Marquette or Wisconsin. So far UF has executed brilliantly in the tournament, albeit against weakish opponents, so Marquette is a true risk as they would have to beat them and likely MSU. Wisconsin has the easier path, but you can't count out Cuse or OSU.

My original bracket is riding almost exclusively on Marquette at this point, as almost everyone picked UK and UNC to reach the F4.

If you're picking the most talented teams in every region you'd better pick Kentucky, Florida, UNC, and Ohio State.

Teams with a lot of seniors in rotation should raise RED flags. Remember: Duncan was the last player to make the Association wait 4 years for him. The guys who wait four years now either aren't good, or are easily filled roles like significantly undersized power-fowards, or high volume shooting combo-guards. They aren't staying because they want to or love to learn. They're staying because no one wants them. Do you?
