Trick or treat Tony...for every good play, he'd make a really dumb play. But he was integral in them winning their championship as it seems like he figured out his role and abilities.

Yeah because 'melo is such an easy cover for a 2-guard.

Carmelo would destroy Tony Allen if given a chance. There isn't a player in the league that can check 'melo. Battier isn't as bad as you say - he is a very smart defender who makes you take shots you don't want to take a la Bruce Bowen.
