I find myself rooting for the Spurs. Clearly the best team going right now. The most unlikable thing about them would probably be Tim Duncan whine face, and that's a good thing.

I rooted for the mavs last year, but I can't bring myself to root for the spurs.

I was definitely happy to see Dirk win last year. I also like Carlisle.

I'll root for the Spurs over the Lakers, Thunder, or Heat. But not over the Pacers, 76ers, or Celtics.

But honestly if it winds up being Spurs/Heat - I'll root for the Spurs, but probably refuse to watch.

Yea, I would never root for the Rockets, but I just never had the hatred for the spurs. Sure we have had an intense rivalry for a while, but I always felt like there was respect there.

I'll root for whomever is playing the Spurs except the Heat.

I historically like the Spurs, but I do NOT like Duncan, Parker, or Ginobli. Not because they usually beat the Mavs but because of their whining and flopping.

I will go back to liking SAS when those three are gone...unless Dwyane Wade joins them.

I don't get the Rockets hate. It has been 17 years ago since they met in the playoffs and they haven't had a meaningful game against each other in 15 years. Plus, we gave you Scola for a pack of skittles.

Go watch all the highlights of the Spurs-Clippers. Find the Spurs flopping or complaining. The Spurs do complain, but no more than any other team. And no where near what they did 10 years ago. But the flopping comment just isn't accurate. They just don't flop that much. Especially not as much as other teams like the Clippers, Wade, Garnett, etc.

I am a lifelong spurs fan. I hate the Mavs, Lakers, and Jazz... But i will admit that I was all aboard the Maverick bandwagon last season...

If its a Spurs/Heat finals, then how can you not root for the Spurs? They do everything right. They embody all that Bball should be about. Mavs fan here.

As a disappointed (but not surprised) Mav fan; I am excited because I think this Spurs/Thunder series will be epic.

Weren't the anti-Spurs posters Houston fans? I find that odd, since I don't feel any particular sense of rivalry between the teams.

The Spurs are basically what the Rockets aspire to be (good team ball, solid character guys, depth with role players, etc), they just don't have their Tim Duncan yet. I've always sort of liked the Rockets.

Another Mavs fan who will be rooting for the Spurs. I hate the Thunder more than any team in the Western Conference, probably because Westbrook is such a punk. And of course I hate the Heat. Go Spurs

For the record I'll be rooting for SA as well. I like seeing the old guys beat up on the young punks, plus as much as I try to dislike SA, I can't help but like Pop.

I make it a point to not let anything said by certain idiots on here influence my sports hate. I never liked the Rockets because all the games get chippy, and I hated Tmac.
I always enjoy the spurs games, because, for the most part, they are almost always incredibly intense and well played. It's as simple as that.

Tim Duncan is the man so I guess I'll root for the Spurs.

I hope OKC never wins a championship because of how they became a team. ****ed over Seattle so bad.
