This guy is more hormonal and indecisive than a 14-year old teenage girl. That being said, if I were the Rockets I would still offer Lowry, Scola, Dalembert, Martin, and a '12 1st-Rd pick for Howard, Turkoglu's terrible contract, and Von Wafer. Why not roll out a starting 5 of Dragic, Lee, Parsons, Hedo/Patterson, and Howard, with Wafer, Hedo/Patterson, Budinger off the bench. Sign a back-up PG and C and you're back in the playoffs.

I just don't understand why he agreed to play the final year of his contract when he had an opt out in the middle of the year. Was he just doing it to spite Orlando so they couldn't make good trade?

I heard that the only trades Orlando was willing to make were with teams Howard did not want to go to. Howard decided he would rather stay with Orlando an extra year, if he could not get traded to the team he wanted.

In January, he had just purchased a 1-year pass to Disney, and he didn't want to waste it.

This, coupled with the fact that rumors say the Rockets were the last man standing in the trade talks before Howard decided to opt-in, is why I will not be holding my breath for the Rockets to get Howard in any trade.
