Game 5 tonight. The Spurs are up by 1 after Duncan has hit a 20-foot jumper to put the Spurs ahead 93-92 with 0.4 seconds left. It looks like the spurs will not lose 3 in a row on their way to blowing a 2-0 lead like they did in the 2004 WCF. But OKC has called a TO and has the ball at half-court. OKC draws up a play for Durant, but the Spurs smartly double him, forcing OKC to pass it to their back up PG, who nails a jumper over the arms of Manu Ginobili with no time to spare. The back-up PG's name? Derek ****ing Fisher.

Admit that this has at least crossed your mind. If the spurs lose tonight ESPN and all the media outlets will be sure to remind everyone how similar it is to 2004. If the above happened Derek Fisher would have to be put into witness protection and the National Guard would have to be sent in to San Antonio for nuclear meltdown watch duty.

If the scenario plays out where Derek Fisher is taking a potentially game-winning shot, I'll probably crap my pants. I'd rather see Durant attempting a layup to win the game than Derek Fisher taking a 20-footer.

As for the Spurs hitting a shot to take the lead with .4 left, I'd take that in as heartbeat.

But yes, I would take a 1 point lead with .4 left any game the rest of the way. The odds of someone scoring in that little time is so slim.

However, Fisher would definitely be in my mind. And if he hit that shot again my head would EXPLODE.

I'm not even a die hard BB fan, but in this scenario I'm pretty sure that I might flip out a bit, find a neighborehood cat, and kick the crap out of it (they got 9 lives so it's no biggie)!!!! That scream that a cat makes will more than likely snap me out of it and I'll sleep like a baby.

I feel like this scenario is almost inevitible.

Every time I see Fisher I expect him to weasel his way out of a contract.

The scenario I dread most is the Thunder winning this series only to lose to Miami.

I can deal with the Spurs choking a lot better if the Thunder win the title.
