Rudy's quote wasn't until after the Rockets Championship in 95, not 94. Scotty Brooks was traded to Dallas mid-season that year so he wasn't part of that playoff run.

I realize that this is like hearing David Copperfield tell you he used a camera trick to make the Statue of Liberty appear to disappear. For that I'm sorry.

There was no significance to what you are asking about. Just trying to be random.

Although I think the point is that Brooks might be a newer coach and does not have the experience of a Popovich, he still understands what it takes to win a championship.
