I am a Spurs fan and have been since I was a kid...but, dang, KD is truly an AMAZING talent. Silky smooth and as clutch as they come. Hate seeing these upstart kids from OKC give the Spurs all they can handle, but I respect his game immensely, and I think he is a good kid to boot.

Westbrook, OTOH, is a punk. A very talented punk, but a punk nonetheless...

KD is a freak. Hate that he was a whorn, but whatever. He's fun to watch. OK City loves their Thunder up here.

Harden is a beast too. He looks like black philosophy major...but he has mega quick hands and he makes clutch 3's all the time.

Can't stand Westbrook.

NBA refs are a joke.

I'm sick of watching this game with the ghey foul calls I'm seeing. BE CONSISTENT.

Call it both ways, is that so hard to ask?

I'm convinced NBA fixes games the way some of these things work out is just to stupid to me.

The Spurs are probably not the better team, but it is hard to win 8 on 5.

Harden is the ghey. His beard is not cool, it is just stupid. He has hit some big shots for OKC, but his flops are way better than Ginobili's. Problem is Ginobili is known for flopping so he doesn't get the calls anymore. It's time for the refs to put the flyer out on Harden for the same thing.

I like Durant, but I don't like Perkins or Harden, and I'm on the fence with Westbrook. He just rubs me the wrong way some times and his shirts are about as stupid as Harden's beard.

Any spurs fan complaining about Harden being a flopper while loving Manu is pure comedy.

I don't think any spur fan would deny Manu having a history of flopping but harden has taken it to a new level. Anytime he shoots he kicks his legs out trying to draw contact and immediately falls. Plus a homeless person could live in his beard, it's nasty.

Anyone who flops in a game should be automatically ejected. It's sad officiating in the nba. Guess that's why I hate watching the nba and prefer watching college ball.

I'm also a little skeptical that the NBA is fixed and they really neded to do something about players flopping as the game is becoming unbearable to watch. Also that technical on Stephen Jackson killed the Spurs momentum and was a ridiculous call.

I'm not a Thunder fan, but surely the suggestion of sympathy for the Spurs getting the short end of NBA officiating is a joke, right?

@thad97 not a joke. The Thunder were in the bonus with 5:30 left in the 4th and there were a lot of questionable calls that all went the Thunders way. That said the Thunder did what they had to do in SA and everyone knew it would be tough to beat them in OKC

I will agree that Manu has been the king of floppers in the NBA...until now. I think Harden takes the cake with some of his crap.

The difference between Ginobili and Harden is that Manu's was always a component of his very unorthodox style that took the NBA by surprise when he came into the league. Sometimes Manu is just out of control, but still makes things happen.

Harden, on the other hand, is trying to get an Academy award with his schtick...but it is ridiculously obvious.

Agree that the league needs to get control of their refs. It's one of the reasons I rarely watch the NBA until playoff time. Much prefer the college game now.

As a Rockets fan I thought the last quarter was a joke starting with the SJax T.

Bizarre call on Duncan on a perfect screen.
Durant sliding screen that should have been 3 points.
Harden flop.
Parker taking a forearm to the face from Westbrook while driving to the basket.
Parker called for a phantom foul on Westbrook when he didn't touch him.

Refs were pretty horrid in the 4th

Durant needs to learn what a weight room is. Guy is long and too lean. Needs to put on some muscle. Really don't like watching him play. Can't say that I like to watch anyone in particular. Of course, I grew up watching MJ, so nothing impresses me (since he was the greatest ever, IMO).

Ag12th...dude is still only 23 and has a build that will likely never pack a whole lot of muscle on. That being said...at age 23 he has already led the league in scoring the last 3 seasons. He already has his team in the NBA finals in dominant fashion over the dominant franchise of the last 15 or so years.

I hate the fact that he was a hired gun for the sips for a year, but he is on a trajectory right now that is as good or better than MJ's was at this point of his career. If his physique can take the pounding, he could wind up being the "MJ" of this generation. He's that good...much better than Lebron in my opinion, b/c he is not selfish like Lebron.

How you can say you don't like watching him play...well, I don't know what to say to that. I don't like him beating the Spurs, but he is amazing to watch play.

Flopping

Manu> > > > > > > Parker> Harden

I'm a Mavs Fan so don't really care Spurs or Thunder. I hate to tell you Spurs fan but Manu and Parker are to flopping today what Malone and Stockton were back in the day. Respect Tim Duncan though, don't hardly ever remember him flopping.

It doesn't matter if you think Manu flops more, the NBA knows he flops and doesn't call fouls anymore when he does. Harden is getting away with what Manu used to get away with before the word went out on him. That is the difference.

I don't think anyone will deny how great a flopper Manu used to be in his prime.

For the guy listing the bad calls, don't forget the hit to the head on Leonard by Westbrook that caused Leonard to drop the ball and dribble it on the line. That cost us a possession too.

These refs were the s*ck in the second half and so much so that it almost had the look of being fixed. That said, the Spurs were stupid to settle for so many jump shots. TAKE IT TO THE RACK and draw a foul, kick it out, or make a layup. Bball is a simple, simple game.

Bottom line: OKC was the younger, more athletic team and they had Durant lead them to the series win. OKC earned the series win with great effort and man they can run.
