Honest question...once the playoffs started, I had completely forgot about it. During the regular season the compressed schedule made it hard to forget.

Hardly thought about it at all. Not much of a difference between a 66 or 82 game season. The best teams were/are still playing at the end.

I wish the NBA would back up their season by about 1 to 2 months.

Why not spend less time going against college football and the NFL and more time against MLB and the vast emptiness of sport in May and June. Many fans don't get into it until after college basketball is done.

One great thing about this compressed season was there were good to great regular season games on every night.

I still watched the playoffs only... that has become almost the norm for me with all pro sports. I watch occasionally during the reg season, but it's rare.

The NBA should have shifted their season to start at Christmas. Competing with football is idiotic. However competing with baseball is a good idea. Also, once the NBA is over in June it gets boring as a sports fan.

Anyways I don't think the lockout will create an asterisk. Some players may have gotten injured during the season and the quality of play was up and down, but there was nothing major. The Derrick Rose injury was the only one and it wasn't lockout related.

If the NBA playoffs ended right before the NFL started, that would be perfect. Football and basketball year round.

think logically here. who was the lockout supposed to hurt more? it seemed like the top two answers were ALWAYS "the young team who needed the offseason to practice together" or "the old team who couldn't handle the grind".

boston/OKC satisfies both of those categories PERFECTLY. did the lockout really mean much after all? sure as **** doesn't seem like it.
