He's awesome. He has no problem telling it like it is. Do I always agree with him? No, but I also recognize that he has more basketball knowledge in his pinkie finger than I do so I give him the benefit of the doubt. I want to see him and Sir Charles do some commentating together, that would be pure entertainment.

He's great but I liked him better in the 3 man booth. He's the White Barkley and he needs a Kenny to play off of.

He throws in his wild opinions a little too often, but his actual x's/o's insight is unparalleled. The only person whose actual basketball know-how/insight comes close is Hubie Brown.

That said, he's not as good as he was when Mark Jackson was working with him.

This. If he's a homer of anyone/anything, it's of Shane Battier. If he's anti anyone/anything, it's of Dwight Howard. That is the extent of his subjectivity.

One of the better color guys out there (I think he's better without Mark Jackson). Before he came back to coach the Rockets he was even better when paired with Marv Albert.

I like JVG. He actually knows what he is talking about and has a good stance on flopping.

Maybe ESPN will trade JVG to TNT for Shaq. I wouldn't mind Ernie, Kenny, Barkley, and JVG

JVG has good basketball knowledge and isn't afraid to call it like he sees it. I don't always agree with him, but at least he doesn't pretend bad calls or flops were legitimate plays like most announcers do.

I like JVG but Walton was a baked potato with all the toppings you desired. His back pain caused me heart pain knowing he wouldn't be commentating any longer. ****ing loved that dude.

Bill Walton was the worst. I mean come on. He was horrible and I am convinced he would let Shaq have his way with him if he wanted. He was just awful, I'm sorry.

JVG is really good, but he's pretty noticeably very PC when it comes to the Heat players though not Spoelstra. Think it's pretty obvious he's leaving a door open there in case they blow the 3-1 lead. He's a Riley guy afterall.
