They will win the series. I picked the Thunder before the series started and I stand by that prediction. They will be the first team to come back from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals if they win Game 5 and send it back to OKC.

I said it before the series that I thought 2-3-2 was advantage OKC because of their home court advantage. Didn't think the Heat could win 3 or 4 in a row or win 2 in OKC and still don't. Leave no doubt, it's not an unfair advantage, if the Heat could create the same type of atmosphere as OKC it would be different. But because of Miami's minimal home court advantage and OKC's huge home court crowd, I'm still picking OKC like I have since the beginning. As a huge LBJ fan, I hope I'm wrong tho...

What's to flame? If they win game 5, they probably become the very slight favorite to win the series, since games 6 and 7 are in OKC.

Based on what I've seen thus far, I find it hard to pick OKC to make a key play/stop in the clutch.

There's a reason teams that go up 3-1 are 30 and 0.

The only time from here forward OKC might be favored to "win the series" is if they force game 7. And that's a maybe.

1. I doubt they win tonight.
2. Even if they do manage to get the W, I still don't think they win the series.

Of course, if James Harden decides to show up for these last 3 games then maybe they can do it.

It ends tonight. The King will be crowned.

I wonder how many times the team without home court has gone up 3-1

I take back what I said. If OKC wins tonight, they don't become the very slight favorites to win the series, but it does become a push.

Say OKC has a 70% chance of beating Miami at home in any given playoff game. Then, they have a 49% chance of winning game 6 and 7 at home. That's a push.

Ya, I said I didn't think they could, it's past tense, obviously I was wrong. I still think its gonna be tough to win a fourth straight game over this team.

The Heat are favored tonight. However if the Thunder pull an upset they will be favored in any game remaining. Heat can win in OKC but it would be wise to get it done tonight.

How great would the meltdown be if the Heat lost 3 in a row??? I am rooting for OKC just so I can see that.

I know the Bulls did it in 1991 for their first title. Jordan missed a last second shot in Game 1 at home against the Lakers on the day I graduated from HS. They went on to win the next 4 in a row.

D'oh, I'm an idiot. The Bulls had HCA in that series.

Since the 2-3-2 format, it's happened twice that I can recall: 1993 Chicago vs. Phoenix (Bulls lost game 5 at home, then won game 6 in PHX on Paxson's late 3) and 2004 LA vs. Detroit (Pistons closed it out in game 5 and became the first home team to win all 3 of the "middle" games 3-4-5).

I'm rooting for OKC to win and give us at least give us a little suspense...
