Whatever had to be done this offseason to make the Houston Rockets a competitive playoff team, Morey has consistently done the opposite. I really dont get the guy. All these years we've been saying "In Morey we trust", expecting him to finally make that big move he seems to be building up to, but this offseason has proved he has no idea what the hell hes doing.

I'm done with Morey too. He will be gone after this year, these Lin and Asik contracts will be the death of him. I'm really looking forward to 2014 - 2015 when we owe Asik and Lin a combined $25 mil for that season. What a freaking joke.

No Lin is a good thing. Might as well just keep Lowry now even if he doesn't want to be here. At least he has a good contract.

I've said before, for whatever reason, each year under Morey, the Rockets have gotten more average.

The fact Les has extended Morey another 5 years tells me he is doing (or trying to do) exactly what he wants him to do.

My issue with Morey is that we were sold his genius and had everyone from writers, on-air radio guys, etc. telling us to trust him.

The Rockets are now where a very bad GM could easily get them over the same time period.

When "well, he has avoided salary cap hell" is the best comment someone can say in his defense; he is bad.

Daryl Morey is an average to below average NBA GM and I'd pose this question to any of his apologists:

"If the Rockets fired Morey today, is he employed as an NBA GM in the next 12 months?"

I find this hilarious. People have said for years that the Rockets need to tank. Now that they're seemingly doing it, people are getting pissed.

Dwight was never coming here. And if he somehow did, he'd probably have sat out the season, citing "complications" with his back.

Dragic is about to get way overpaid. He's not worth that much. Lee is a solid player but doesn't make us a contender. Hes better off the bench.

Asik's deal makes him affordable the first two years, then very tradeable the final year. I'd bet bottom dollar he gets moved. Not disappointed we didn't get Lin.

K-Mart needs to be traded, but his value might be highest at the trade deadline. Clock is ticking there though. I don't see anyone trading for Scola. He has a fantastic work ethic, but he's still a finesse PF with the size of a SF. He plays zero defense and is not a great rebounder. Amnesty him and move on.

Beasley can score, but there's a reason no one wants him. Terrible work ethic.

This upcoming draft is being heralded as one of the worst in a decade. We'll see if it stays that way. It doesn't matter if we had waited for a "better" draft to tank. We still wouldn't be contenders and would still need to tank eventually. Right now we have an intriguing group of young players, but we need stars. At least 2. Free agents aren't coming here.

Les was always the problem, not Morey. Just like Drayton McClane.

The draft may be LESS deep this year but the top 2 picks by all accounts are still pretty ****ing good.

If the Rockets aren't in the top 2 picks, fire Morey.

He's had time to "trade and build" and it hasn't gotten us ****. Tank it like the OKC and be done with it.

We wouldn't be so pissed off if Morey and his lackeys hadn't pretty much guaranteed that at some point there would be a "BIG MOVE"

Tremble, I think Morey would rather tank and rebuild but Les doesn't want that. We are picking a bad year to tank because analysts claim next years draft is worse than this year

this year's draft was a great draft in terms of raw talent available. The top 12 picks could be pretty special players down the row. Sucks that next year will blow so hard

Based on them offering Lin a contract that the Knicks were absolutely guaranteed to match, they are going to play next season with an undrafted rookie PG. Sure looks like they are tanking for Noel or Muhammad.

Do you guys really think this is the roster they plan on going into the season with?

They are running out of options.

I strongly disagree. The part that has me the most frustrated is we were unwilling to pay Dragic the money that we're now giving to Lin. Dragic is the Steve Nash with slightly worse shooting and better defense. I know epople like to compare Dragic's and Lin's stats but the difference is Dragic was able to stay healthy and hold those stats for 2xs as many games as Lin.

As far as Lee goes, we needed him. He loved it here and now we have to rely on a rookie SG, cuz Martin had better not be on this roster
