Kidd wants to be a backup PG. **** he's wanted to be a backup for like 2 years now. Mavs just can't lower his minutes, and es really not much use for a rebuildin project. But the way this came down with him choosing an identical contract with the Knicks is just sickening

Not sure it works that way for dallas, at least not this off season it doesn't.

Kidd is done. Last year he could barely stay on the floor due to injuries and his play was average at best.

At 3 mill per year I would not have had a problem bringing him back but this is no big loss.
