Could Spain win? Yes. But expecting that to happen is...not smart.

I get it...they are strong inside. But nobody should expect a lineup of the Gasol brothers and Ibaka and Fernandez and Calderon to beat the lineup that the USA team trots out. Just look at the players involved.

In a 7-game-play-by-NBA-rules series, I would agree with you. But after seeing how vulnerable this team is when Chandler is out and how they're completely obsessed with the 3-ball, I don't know. Throw in a Barcelona home crowd? I'm going bold and calling in the L.

We win by 30 for a couple reasons. 1) They played poorly the last game, they'll be looking to bounce back. 2) they'll be focused against Spain, the team that the media has hyped as the contender to the USA.

I say we win by 12.
