I have obsessive compulsive disorder/tourettes and while I have never been diagnosed with anxiety disorder, it comes with the territory. Now I don't know how bad he has it relative to me, but I cannot imagine it being bad enough to warrant that type of treatment. I would never consider it a "health issue" that requires treatment. In my experience, it has everything to do with discomfort and nothing to do with health detriment.

1st college team - Kicked off
1st NBA team - ???


They should give Fred Hoiberg a retroactive coach of the year award for getting a productive season out of him.

This. If he actually came to Morey to say his lack of playing time would lead to increased stress, then I hope Morey laughed him out of the room. Up the Xanex a tad and start working again.

Based on his two most recent tweets, it looks like his issue is that he wants to see his own doc, and the Rox want him to see a doc they set up for him in Houston. Whites doc is in Minnesota. How does he propose to keep seeing his own doctor while going through an NBA schedule?

Honestly, if he came out and said this was the issue from the beginning a lot of people would support him. At this point though, he is passed the point of no return. He has continued to publicly bash his employer on social media, and there is just no returning from that.

And to think a first round pick was wasted on this guy.

Apparently this guy is some abomination born of a relationship between Jesse Spano, Monk and an Iraq War Veteran.

He's got a case of the stupid, and possibly a doc in Minnesota who saw dollar signs and got greedy.

So he refuses to see the doctor the Rockets set him up with. He'd rather see the doctor in Minnesota who's been treating him for years. Okay, fine. But how does he get to Minnesota? Isn't he scared of flying? He wants to bus it to Rockets games, but is willing to fly to Minnesota to see a doctor? I don't get it.

I agree, Jackal. That's the part I don't get. How is the Minny doc situation supposed to work?

Has Royce stepped up to offer a plan? Or the Doc?

And if there was such a ridiculous scenario that would work, who would have to pay to make it happen? The Rockets certainly are not contractually obligated to do it. Would Royce pay for it out of his own paycheck? Somehow I doubt that.

This whole situation seems like he is angling for a future lawsuit if things don't turn out in his favor.

If he had been seeing this doctor since he was 17, surely that came up in discussions between the organization and Royce White way before the season even started. As serious as he's making his condition out to be, you never heard him make this kind of outburst until it was announced that he got sent down to the D-League. And even when he did get get sent down, it was done so without disclosing anything about his health issues, mental or otherwise.

He also got sent down there with two other rookies, so it wasn't like he was singled out.

This dude is trying to make himself into a martyr in the d-baggiest way possible. I still don't get the skipping practice/games thing. Last I checked, you didn't need a plane to get to Toyota Center.
