Yea, I read that and thought that had to be a very very awkward situation. Not sure how a coach recovers from that.
But I have also heard a few people say that Avery is too controlling. He still tries to "play pg" as a coach and does not give his players any type of leash, etc...They could have just been making that up though (I heard it on the radio).
When I heard Dwill's response to the questions about if he wanted Avery gone, I actually thought he sounded pretty sincere when he was explaining he had nothing to do with it. Either he has gotten very good at lying about getting coaching fired from experience (very possible), or he really didn't have a problem with Avery. If I had to pick, I'd say its the former.
