Yeah it s more than a just dunking its how athletic he is . Lets look at splitter can't do that but has a great back to the basket game but cannot defend like Aaron baynes so yeah very impressive.

I'm a big spurs fan but I'm less than impressed with this guys dunking ability

Look one thing is if you have a big that can do that look at deandre Jordan shot blocker , rebounder and will dunk it . Spurs needed a big 7footer who can play defense , rebound and can move . Also pop thought something was good about him.

The buyout is hitting some snags. It's imminent but could take a while.

Based solely on that video, Baynes is a little slow and clumsy. Looks like he can get up off the ground when he has plenty of time to get his weight moving and his feet right. Splitter is a lot faster and more agile, but Baynes has the bulk to stand up to bigger players in the low post... I guess we'll find out if Baynes can use his size.


I tried to find a good highlight vid, but his highlights are long on dramatic music and video editing and short on Baynes actually playing.
