Just about everyone in the NBA was the ****ing man in college. In the NBA, Aaron Brooks is a guy who had one season at almost 20 ppg but is otherwise a 10 ppg/no defense bench player.

There's also something to be said for having at least one good player who is performing anywhere near his potential. They had some decent role players, but when you looked at the guys who should be their studs you (had) Tyreke "slowly sinking beneath the soul-crushing weight of being a Sacramento King" Evans and DeMarcus "someday I'll go a whole game without looking like a petulant child" Cousins.

Sacramento has no choice but to pray Demarcus grows up. They can't let him walk away and and it's theie best shot at an elite player.
