I am going to be in NYC during the Big East Basketball Tourney at MSG. I have never been to NYC so i'm unfamiliar with MSG, etc. Should i just be safe and buy my tickets on stub hub? Or will there be reputable scalpers (as if there is such a thing)outside the arena selling tickets.

Reputable scalper is kind of an oxymoron. With that being said, I would not buy scalped tickets to a major event. I have bought scalped tickets to different kinds of sporting events, but never anything major. I have never been to a sporting event or concert without seeing a few scalpers. Just be careful more than anything.

i go to the big east tourney every year. Buying from scalpers is usually a better option than stub hub. Oh and buy the cheap as hell tickets and move on down after half time. I did that and it worked like a charm
