Just finished watching it on BET. I've never understood the ending with Denzel throwing the ball over the wall and it falling into the arena where Ray Allen is shooting. I'm thinking it's the white man holding the black man down or his dad is in the stands and throws him the ball and that's why Ray Allen looks up and smiles.

I think the ending is symbolic of the father's love and his son's forgiveness.
