Brook Lopez doesn't even come close to "suck"ing. I'd categorize him in that 15-25 best players in the NBA this year, but #4?

I cross checked his PER against 82games.net's Simple rating (which does a better attempt at figuring out a players defensive impact), and he was +8.8. For comparison,

Paul: +11.1
Parker: +10.3
West: +10.2
Duncan: +9.8
Melo: +9.7
Ginobili: +9.3
Harden: +7.7
Bryant: +7.6
Kyrie: +7.3

Westbrook: +6.7

These numbers make more sense to me overall, but there again is Lopez rated above Harden, Bryant, Kyrie, Griffin, and Westbrook.
