the number 2 seed in the east would be the number 6 seed in the west.

of the eight eastern playoff teams, only two are playing better than .500 over their last ten games. all eight of the west playoff teams are playing better than .500 over the last ten.

maybe stern should do miami a favor and cancel the eastern half of the playoffs so they don't risk a freak injury to lebron while the west tears itself into tiny little pieces.

almost assuredly. again, the east sucks. bad.

11 teams in the West have winning records vs. the EC.
4 teams in the East have winning records vs. the WC.

this is the case pretty much every year
