How long do you want to ignore this user?
Kyle O'Quinn, PF
Tobias Harris, SF
Moe Harkless, SF
Jameer Nelson, PG
E'Twaun Moore, SG

Nelson is the only one of those guys I've ever heard of. I didn't know any of the other 4 existed. Same story with their bench (other than Beno Udrih and Al Harrington). I've never heard of any of those players, and I follow the NBA.

Andrew Nicholson, PF
DeQuan Jones, SF
Beno Udrih, PG
Al Harrington, PF
Doron Lamb, SG

EDIT: was reminded that Doron Lamb was on Kentucky's 2012 NC team and after thinking about it, I do remember him. But the rest of them, damn. Most teams have at least a couple of household names. Orlando has 0. Their most well-known player is Jameer Nelson. (oh and Turkoglu, who's sitting out for roids haha) Kinda sad.

on my fantasy team. If you are a die hard nba watcher, you are aware of most of their team. Excellent potential among their entire team.

The one and done rule is doing its job. There are no "who the hell is that" guys left in the NBA. Because you've seen every American in the league play college basketball. You've probably even seen most of the international guys if you watch Olympics.

Draft Junkies, like me, watch a LOT of college basketball in hopes of discovering the next big thing before everyone or at least in hopes of having stories like "remember that time Jordan dropped 40 on Georgetown". Anyway, most guys that stay in school more than 2 seasons, I label D Leaguers and lose interest in watching. But a lot of them actually go on to make NBA rosters.

The players you mentioned:

Saw Kyle O'Quinn on the Norfolk State team that last year, beat 2 seed Missouri as a 15 seed.

Saw Tobias Harris at Tennessee play against the Wall and Cousins Kentucky team that lost me a lot of money.

Saw Moe Harkless at St. Johns in the Big East tournament last year.

E'Twaun Moore was actually on the 2009 Purdue team that beat the Aggies in the 2nd round of the 2010 NCAA tournament.

Saw Andrew Nicholson play in St.Bonaventure's only NCAA tournament game maybe last year.

Saw Dequan Jones play UNC before it was cool to watch the U play basketball.

Udrih and Harrington (who predates the one and done rule) are veterans who've been around the association for more a decade each.

There are no household names, but definitely lots of guys that people in tune with the basketball universe should know.

Meh, I agree with the op. unless you are a huge basketball fan, you don't know who these guys are. Me? I watch the spurs and the Ags and that's about it. Occasionally I'll see bits and pieces of other college or nba games. I love basketball, but more so to play than watch other than my favorite teams.

Not many people have heard of these guys. Yes, they are absolutely "who the hell are they" guys to 90% of casual basketball fans.

I am in the camp that doesn't pay much attention to Orlando or any other ****ty team, although most of those names I've heard at least in passing, even though it may have been a year or two. That's definitely a pretty anonymous lineup befitting their terrible record.

I used to be able to keep up with all the rosters, but now I can't even watch my own team in their hometown.

But to answer the question, I know about most of them, and I don't watch much college ball anymore. Mostly through draft scouting, but of course Udrih, Nelson, and Harrington have been around forever.

Dequan Jones was the only one I didn't recognize. I knew where Harkless and Lamb went to college and that they are rookies. Nicholson and O'Quinn I remembered from the draft (and to a lesser extent the tourney) but would not have been able to tell you their colleges. Udrih, Harrington, Nelson are the vets. I know Moore is youngish and wasn't much of a factor before this year.

Thank you, NBA trade machine.

True story, I actually went to a dorm party with Moe Harkless last year when he was at St. John's. My cousin is a junior there and she was "dating" him at the time. He's a tall ass dude. I'm 6'2 and he looked like gheorge Muresan next to me. He might be like 6'8

Heh, I'm not saying they pulled up an entire team of D-leaguers last Tuesday or anything, just that they've managed to put together a roster that features very few NBA regulars. Seems like almost everyone on their roster is new to the league.

They look a lot like the Clippers did pre-Griffin.
