They fire the coach today. The same one they hired a year ago who had been an assistant on a terrible St. Johns team for 3 years and had no NBA head coaching experience.

Nobody could have predicted that wasnt going to work out??????????????????

Didn't Charlotte actually finish decent (for them) at the end of the season? How did he expect the coach to do with that group of scrubs? Not saying it wasn't a bad coaching pick, but to not give a guy more than a year with that roster is basically admitting that you screwed up hiring the guy in the first place.

Maybe he's hoping Mr. 11 rings will come riding into town.

I would have tremendous respect for Phil if he took over that team, but I certainly don't expect that.

I could see Lionel Hollins going to Charlotte if the Grizz don't renew his contract.
