It's really kind of boring

It'll be interesting to see who stern screws over this year

But to tell the truth there's not as big of a difference this year in the number 1 and 2 pick IMO.

How interesting would it be if Sacramento wins.

None of the Mavericks last 37 draft picks are still on the roster? Did I see that right? How is that possible?

And stern screws the bobcats over yet again

I see it when watching the lottery every year, but never know why. Why did the wizards get a guaranteed top 3 pick when they were passes over?

Also, the NBA is still trying to save the Cavaliers. I had no doubt that Cleveland or Sacramento would have #1.

magnolia - They only draw the top 3 picks with the lottery balls.

So when they countdown in reverse order and you are skipped, that means you were one of the 3 ping pong balls selected.

So who do the Cavs take? I don't really think they want Noel all that bad. If they could find a scenario where they could trade down and grab Otto Porter I think they do that. The only threat to draft Porter would be the Wizards; Magic will probably grab Burke or McLemore in this scenario, Wizards may grab Porter since they're set at the 1 & 2, and the Bobcats won't take Porter because they drafted MKG last year.

But, the Wizards may opt to take McLemore and slide he or Beal over to the 3 and just go for the talent grab. I think Ford mentioned the Wizards grabbing Porter b/c he could be a point-forward type to help Wall out, which makes sense. Just doing some thinking out loud.

And I think even Stern realizes that Sacramento is the place where talent goes to die. Even if this thing was rigged there's no way he'd reward them. That team needs a serious facelift.

I would take mclemore before anybody in this draft.

He's obviously still feeling sorry for the cavs because of Lebron.

The Cavs won't take McLemore b/c they took Waiters last year. Even if they see Waiters as a 6th man/change of pace guy, I couldn't see them drafting another 2. But maybe they could plan to slide McLemore to the 3 and have him share the court with Irving and Waiters, but that is a defensive sieve waiting to happen.

Technically they didn't draft those 3 players - picks were all traded around on draft night. I don't know why they picked 37 though - could be EVERY draft pick is not on the roster right now.

Crowder and James were 2nd round and Cunningham was 1st round
