While my wife may spout off this statement, I'm surprised by some of you. Does the NBA & ABC/ESPN like dramatic 7 game series? Yes, but they don't like one-sided victories, where viewers turn off games early that lack drama. Nor would they want small market teams. How about these are teams getting hot & cold, defenses making adjustments or injuries taking their toll. Sheesh!

Stop sounding like an uninformed casual fan!

Splitter can't buy a foul unless it is being called on him, then it is like he won the lotto.

Officiating has been a joke for this series. Can't imagine anyone watching other than Heat/Spurs fans or haters of either team.

the fact that the officiating can swing so much from game to game is what is frustrating to any fan. it's a stupid way to approach a series.

Completely agree with the op. Whenever anybody says a game is rigged, I immediately discount everything they say. The refereeing is frustrating, but that is true at all levels because it's a difficult game to officiate.

Some fans do nothing but blame the refs every time their team loses. It's incredibly annoying.

This is the stage I'm in. I have now grown weary of the let's blame the officials for every loss routine that exists.

It's not just NBA, but MLB, NCAA, NFL, etc.

It makes it incredibly annoying to listen to a game on Sirius/XM. I don't mind the hometown bias, unless that bias is complaining about every call.

And that doesn't mean I don't agree with the frustrating aspects of NBA officiating, especially the bias part (already mentioned by DC).

The NBA needs to reconsider giving fouls to the defender when it is the offensive player that initiates the contact. It should be a no call.
