Eat a big D*$%!!

I dislike the Spurs and Heat. It was almost impossible to pull for either. But I'd be lying if I said the Spurs' game 6 meltdown and eventual series loss didn't make me a little happy.

I enjoyed it as much as Spurs fans enjoyed us gagging away the 2006 Finals. yes, there were a few who rooted for us in the interest of Texas but by and large they were happy we lost.

And you know what, I dont blame them. That's what a rivalry is all about. Same reason I rooted for USC in the title game against Texas

Some of the spurs fans were absolute ******bags this playoffs. I like most of you but that choke made me laugh. I thought they'd win game 7 but game 6 was inexcusable

Every sports fan in the world is a bit of an ass when someone is deliberately saying things to rile him or her up following heartbreakers like game 6. Tone down your self righteousness.

I just think it's pathetic and sad to hear Rockets and Mavs fans piling on. It just doesn't make a lot of sense really other than to try and get a few Spur fans to take the bait. Kind of makes me chuckle a bit though.

You can't use that argument, it's too soon. 2011 was VERY recent and Mavs fans deserve to still be excited.

Rockets fan here:L I was rooting for the Spurs to win.

However, did you know that in 2007:

- Transformers was the #3 top grossing movie of the year. (Yeah, the very 1st one)

- #5 was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

- The Big Bang theory debuted on TV. Also the 1st season of Keeping up with the Kardashians.

- Pandora is created to provide streaming internet radio

- Nintendo releases it newest game console: The Wii.

- Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah was the top Pop song

- The Final Harry Potter book was finally released (Spoiler Harry dies!!)

- Some guy name Barack Obama begins pondering a run to the white house


So yeah, I was rooting for the Spurs. But posting banner pics reeks of the desperate cowboys fans with that picture of 5 trophies from the time of Vanilla Ice and Day-Glo shirts every time Romo throws another game-clinching interception.

How are Rockets and Mavs fans bagging on Spurs fans when they lose any different from Aggies making fun of tu when they lose?

I'm not a Rockets or Mavs fan, but from my experience, Spurs fans are the most sensitive fans I have seen in sports. I've never seen a fan base that has such a hard on for wanting everyone else to like them.
