the 96/03 thread got me thinking.

the 2000 class is easily the worst draft in the last 30 years, if not ever. how do you think the 2013 draft will compare? just for some reference, 4 of the top 6 picks were stromile swift, darius miles, marcus fizer and dermarr johnson. the most accomplished player is kenyon martin, followed by michael redd, after that its basically a who's who of wtf?

Magloire, Turkoglu, Jamal Crawford, and Mike Miller have been decent. Definitely a super weak class though.

2006 is pretty rough. Top five Bargnani, TheMarcus, Adam Morrison, Tyrus Thomas, and Sheldon Williams. Headlined by Aldridge, Rondo, Gay, and Brandon Roy, but he never had a chance to be the player he could have been, meaning that a redraft would probably have Paul Millsap going top 5.

'07 isn't too hot, either.

2013 is just the pathetic redraft of 2000. The same characters were available but the order changed.

The 1986 draft deserves some consideration here, too, especially at the top (Brad Daugherty and Chuck Person were solid, but not great)...lots of drug issues, averageness and general knuckleheadedness (Chris Washburn, Kenny Walker, Roy Tarpley, William Bedford were all top 10 picks, throw in Pearl Washington and Walter Berry for good measure). The 2nd round keeps this draft from being a total cluster****...I think Mark Price and Jeff Hornacek were 2nd rounders.

2000 is the gold medal of suck winner, though.

Don't forget about Len Bias in that '86 draft

Yeah, thought about Bias after I posted...forest for the trees. Boston was set up to sustain their mid 80's run with that pick and then he OD'ed.
