Cuban reminds me of a "journalist" that works for a magazine like the National Enquirer. He doesn't really care what he says, nor how ludicrous it sounds, only that it gets ink.

It it hadn't been already for the last decade, the Texas NBA triangle is the best sports rivalry in the state for sure now.

So after winning the championship and everybody claiming how big of a role Tyson Chandler played in them winning it all, Cuban let him walked. And since then, the best he can do is to get Monta Ellis to help Nowitzki.

If you look at the accomplishments since 1996, the mavericks have blown the doors off of Houston. Howard is no guarantee that things will be different.

Not sure why Cuban is banging his chest. How many organizations completely dismantle a team a year after winning a championship?

I dont see the Rockets changing anything about themselves from the past 15 years.

Last time I saw them they were pulling the biggest choke job in NBA Finals history.
The Spurs have been extremely lucky that all of their titles have come against crap competition.
But go one and keep hanging on to that title won.....what....7 seasons ago.

Oh my bad.....once.
The Rockets had McGrady and Yao (two hall of famers) and did absolutely nothing with two hall of famers.
Not sold on Dwight and Harden ( who I dont think are as good as Yao and Tracy respectively, but they are lucky because the NBA is a lot weaker then it was ) suddenly turning a mediocre franchise into championship contenders.

It's hilarious to me that people actually take what Cuban says seriously and that what he says makes headlines. We've known for over a decade now that he has no filter and will say anything just for the sake of saying it. Who gives a sh/t about what amounts to "controversial" statement #483,568 since he's taken over the Mavs.

First off T-Mac is not a hall of famer. Secondly, the reason the Rockets could do nothing with T-Mac and Yao is because Yao broke down at a very young age due to his size. Nothing you can really do about that. Plus, T-Mac was very injury prone as well.

If Howard had of signed with the Mavs, they could have taken a photo of Howard with all the storied big-men of the Mavs' franchise. You could have surrounded him with such household names as James Donaldson, Uwe Blob, Roy Tarpley and Shawn Bradley.
