Would this be stupid?

I'm loaded at the guard position and even have Brook Lopez and Paul Pierce from the Nets as well. Don't like having 3 Nets players.

Dirk has looked solid while Deron has been playing with a bum ankle. But once he's healthy, I think he has more upside with the new-look Nets...

I would take dirk. There are a lot of mouths to feed in Brooklyn all of a sudden. Dirk is still the undisputed man for Dallas.

I don't care what kind of league, if you can trade Deron for Dirk do it. Deron is one of the most overrated players in fantasy.

The same guy actually offered me Dwight Howard for Deron Williams but quickly canceled it haha. I think I'd jump on that. Keep in mind, Deron is on a minutes limitation at the moment but when he get 30-35+ minutes, he's pretty solid.

Deron will get you 3s, solid FT%, points, and assists. Yes he has some off-games but when he's playing well, he's up there with the best PGs. My only concern is having 2 other Nets players as well. Dirk would get me 3s, FT%, points, but he's not the same rebounder anymore and never was huge on assists. Also doesn't provide that many steals or blocks for the mostpart. However, he is THE man in Dallas at least

I think if he'll do Dwight Howard for Deron, I'd do it. I don't like having Paul Pierce and Brook Lopez from the Nets as well. Deron is on a minutes limitation so I'd like to see how he'll perform when he gets his usual 30-35+ minutes... but there are definitely more mouths to feed in Brooklyn now so his #s should take a drop compared to last year when he finished 15th overall in fantasy

Yeah I wouldn't really say you are loaded at PG with that roster. I would keep DWill. I don't really care if he's on a minutes limit. I wouldn't want to rely on Lawson or Lowry to be your main man at PG. But that's just me.

If you're worried about too many Nets players, test the waters for Pierce or Lopez. Those guys should be able to bring you something nice in return

yeah i'm sticking with Deron. I was intrigued with the Dwight Howard offer but I'd basically be forfeiting FT% every week. That and his turnover issue lately.

Dirk will be better in FG%, FT%, Rebs, Pts, blks and TOs. Deron will be better in assists. Deron will be an injury risk all season and is currently on a minutes limit. I'd take Dirk easily. Seen Deron burn too many fantasy owners over the years.

Dirk doesn't exactly dominate on the boards or get many blocks...

Lol yeah I'm not THAT high on Dirk. He's only getting older.

And why the hate on Deron Williams? He finished as the 15th best player OVERALL last year in fantasy basketball.

One could argue this season 2 ways.
1.) He has more talent around him, so he won't have to do as much and his #s will decline
2.) He has more talent around him, and as a point guard, that's always good

The health issue is concerning but Dirk has been blah this season so far. I'm taking my chances with DWill.

Assists & steals tend to be the x factor in fantasy basketball. (blocks too but neither of these guys are going to wow there)
