To put a little NBA twist on this thread, there is an outstanding video of Meyers Leonard when he was a sophomore at Illinois. He is now with the TrailBlazers, but his father died when he was pretty young, and his brother helped raise him, and eventually the brother joined the marines and went to afghanistan.

Well, if you are at all into military family reunion, it is special to see the brother show up at an Illinois practice.
