He increased his FT% by 6 percentage points... just 5 more consecutive years of improvement at that rate and he'll be average!

Aren't 99% of his shots dunks? I think that kind of deflates his best fg% claim. Can he even shoot from father then 3 feet away?

He's a much better rebounder but I don't think that alone qualifies him for MIP.

Jordan played over 10 minutes per game more this year, so his stat improvements really aren't that impressive, though he did make some progress in the rebounding dept. But it's not like he grabbed 6 more rebounds per game playing the same minutes.

He led the league in rebounding and is 3rd in blocks. His whole game improved.

Anthony Davis coming in 3rd just shows you that they need to redefine the qualifications for the award. Sticking to your projected career path at a number one overall pick isn't "improvement."
