There are 6 series at 3-2.
I think that it is somewhere around 85% of the time the team with 3 wins, wins the series, which means you might expect one of the series to be won by a team down right now.
I don't foresee any of the lower seeds coming back to win.
That 85% stat is probably wrong.

There is a legit possibility that every single first round matchup in the west will go to 7 games. That is crazy
And then after they emerge from this 7 game series, another 6 or 7 game series probably awaits.
And another after that.
While Miami sits waiting to play a Washington team that would have been 10th in the West.

Anyone feel like the refs may make this happen? I haven't watched all three games but this is the most talked about playoffs in recent memory and the NBA is bound to want to keep the momentum going.
the playoffs the last 10 years have all been very good. 2010 was awesome, too.

Not sure on how I will rate these playoffs, but I will have a better idea after tonight. They will either be one of the all time great first rounds, or worthy of me canceling my cable because it stinks so bad

Miami finished the season tied for 5th in the league, and playing in the East probably added 3-6 wins to their total.
They might have been the 6th best team in the NBA this year.
And while I thought the easy road was going to really help them, I think the East made them soft, like Krispy Kreme soft.

They didn't have to vary lineups or try new things and I think that really hurts the east teams.
