I know a lot of stats these days are arbitrary/meaningless, but that one's pretty neat imo.

Hopefully the Spurs can eliminate OKC tomorrow so Derek Fisher doesn't have his 246th straight appearance.

Add Ewing, Isiah, Magic and Bird and you can get back to 80 when Bird and Magic were rookies and the 3-point line came into effect.

25 Total not counting this year

So on average, more than one of those 5 players is in the finals, although Shaq and Bryant were on the same team for 4 of theirs. 2007 and 2013 are the only times two of those players have been on opposing teams.

No you couldn't, because now of them were in the finals last season.

Before that, 2006 had none of them.

And yeah, obviously Fisher, Kerr, Horry, and Haslem didn't carry their teams to those Finals.

It's just odd you can find less than a handful of guys who could personally recount every Finals going back the past 21 Finals.
