Parker's injury is a major concern. It cost us the title last year (he was horrible in very close games 6&7) and if it's bad it could cost us this one too. Thankfully he played light minutes tonight and has 4 days to rest before Thursday.

He has 7 days to rest before game 2.

Hopefully it's not so bad that he can't be close to 80%+ by game 2. Awesome thing about the Finals is they drag out. Multiple games with 2 days rest.

Get some therapy, Tony!!!

Has to be pretty bad though, otherwise they would have let him come back in.

I don't think it's as bad as we think. I think Pop was hedging his bets and preparing for a possible game 7. Longer mins for TD, bench Parker, and hope Mills, CoJo, and Ginobili at the 1 could eke this out. If not, you have a less hobbled Parker saved for game 7.

4-5 days of rest will be helpful. And none of Miami's PGs are as active as OKC with the exception of Nole, maybe.

I think LeBron is too good.

Injuries will play a role, whether it is Parker's ankle, a Manu injury, or DWade having to be helped off in a wheelchair.

Hope for Spurs, but I think it is Heat in 6.

I disagree. Spurs have been ultra cautious of injuries the last several years and Parker already left game 5 of the Portland series early. I have no clue if he'll be ok or not, but him not returning doesn't mean it was a serious injury.

I watched the clincher against OKC at BWW. The celebratory Go Spurs Go chant lasted about 5 seconds, then morphed into Beat the Heat. SA wants this one bad.

Pop just said on ESPN that Parker told him he couldn't even cut on his ankle. It got injured in game 4, reaggrivated in game 5, and tonight it was toast by halftime.

That's not good no matter how you spin it. Hopefully 5 days of rest, ice, steroids, elevation, pain meds, etc. will be enough to get him ready.

Ankles do not normally heal quickly either. Hopefully they can get him back to full health by game 2.
