That video is brutal. If someone could coach those guys to actually try to play defense, maybe the Rockets could get out of the first round.

He constantly drifts away from his man and I can't even figure out what he's trying to do. Usually players do that to jam up passing lanes or swipe the ball out from someone else, but he's not even doing that. Just hanging out while the game happens around him. I think Pop would literally shoot someone who gave up that many backdoor cuts in a career, let alone one season.

Lance Berkman said he would sit in the outfield and day dream about hitting. I'm sure it is something similar about driving, embellishing contact and drawing fouls.

But Lance at least was a league average defensive first baseman.. Harden needs to be DH'ing.

I like Harden, but it's hard to see him being 1st team all NBA given his piss poor defense. I think it probably says more about the lack of talent at SG across the league.
