Why doesn't he ever shakes hands after losing. He's always the first one off the court. Sprinting to the locker room. Seems like they could've helped him to the podium after the game.

Unlike little league games you don't have to shake their hands.

I don't see any problem with him not going to the podium.

You don't shake hands after games in the playoffs. You shake regular season, sometimes, and when the series is over.

He doesn't shake after they lose series, only if they win.

They need an official name for the clinical hatred of Lebron that is afflicting so many people over the least 5 years.

It'd really help his image to show a little class, and sincere sportsmanship every now and then. You know, congratulate someone with a smile. Go a little above and beyond. Instead of just stomping off like a Clydesdale.

I'm a Spurs fan and a Lebron fan. My casual interest in seeing Lebron do well is minuscule compared to my desire to see the Spurs win, but still. I wouldn't mind seeing him play well as long as the Spurs win the series and I don't think he did anything wrong during game 1. Dwyane Wade, on the other hand....

Lebron can keep winning... In the Olympics. The Spurs can win all the championships.

I hope this ridiculous criticism motivates Lebron to go off for about 50+ per game for the rest of the series.

Spurs fans possibly ought to exhibit a little embarrassment that their arena can't keep an AC unit running or at least repair it in a reasonable time. Instead I've seen jokes all day from them about a player who cramps up.

Agree with all of this.

Used to know this guy who was a normal, rational guy. No problems with him, except he had this irrational hatred of Troy Aikman. It's like he had this 'Aikman' button that would send him into frothing spasms.

I don't hate Lebron but I don't love him either. I respect his talent and don't think he handles himself poorly. I don't think he is a saint either.

I would put him 50 notches above Wade and 100 above Kobe as a human being and sportsman.

I'm a LeBron fan, I remember following him his senior year in high school when I was a senior. As a spurs fan I'll always root for the spurs first, but I would love to see LeBron succeed over any other team

I have the unique perspective of having lived in Houston (1 year), Austin (4 years), San Antonio (8 yrs) and Dallas (4 yrs). The similarities between the TU and Spurs fan bases are remarkably similar.

How so?
A better team has literally never beaten them. True story.
They will cannibalize even to the point that most of them think they have a higher IQ than their coach, throw their players under the bus etc.
They have a superiority complex and can't imagine why everyone doesn't think they are God's gift to the world.
And in my opinion much like tu I personally don't think these guys represent much of a role model outside the lines. Popovich is a great coach but beyond surly and largely boorish. Parker slept with a teammates wife and broke up 2 marriages. Ginobili is a hall of famer but the flopping is just to much to stomach. Duncan's crazy wife divorce was bizarre and had homosexual undertones etc. could go on but will stop there.

I have also lived in Houston, DfW, and SA. I'm a Spurs fan because IMO they are the model franchise. They are classy; work with their community; have the smartest coach in the game; play TEAM basketball; are humble winners; and the players seem for the most part like genuinely good people (Parker's exploits the outlier).
