The Spurs played like dog sh*t last night and still were in it til the very end. It should be a good series.

As good as LeBron played, the Spurs had ample opportunities to win the game, so that viewpoint doesn't really make a lot of sense coming out of that game.

That was bad, but there was still six minutes to play. It was the string of bad offensive possessions in the last two minutes that lost the game. Pop said something in the postgame about how they stopped moving the ball down the stretch.

I thought the Spurs played extremely well in the first quarter. They also shot the three well the entire game and in a pretty timely manner up until the very end. I wouldn't say they played that badly.

I'd say the missed free throws were more of a momentum swing that wasn't. Make those free throws and the Spurs separate a little with momentum and the home crowd, maybe even crack it open if Miami gets desperate and makes a couple mistakes. Instead it turns into a slugfest and they lose it on a series of smothered offensive possessions.

That doesn't bode well for the Spurs then, Heat haven't lost consecutive games in the playoffs in 50 games or something like that. I'm pretty sure they're also undefeated in playoffs series after losing Game 1.

To be fair, they are "undefeated in a playoff series" for almost any category there is seeing as they've only lost 1 series since they were brought together.

My point exactly, I don't know if Spurs could overcome a 1-2 hole against this team. But if they trade wins the rest of the way, I think the pattern continues and Spurs win game 7. And obviously if the Spurs win the next two, series over.

Good point, didn't really think about the whole "4 straight" thing. All I'm hoping is that they find a way to split these next two games in Miami, even if they lose game 3 I think they'd have a good shot at winning game 4 and then finally getting back to back wins in game 5. They're going to need to play a lot better than they did in OKC for those first two games though.

I agree with that, but you only have so many chances. The game was there for the taking and the Spurs couldn't close the deal. They need to win one in Miami.
