I think I count three steps here. But it happens so fast. I just don't see how you get from the three point line to the basket without dribbling.

Yep. Should have been a travel. 3 steps were taken. Still was a pretty freakish play though

That's a blatant travel by the rules of basketball, which are of course irrelevant.

He has timed everything pretty well to make it a strange looking play. I wonder if he's worked on it.

Really hard to tell from the gif. It seems like the ball returned to his hand right as he planted his left foot. There were only two steps after that, so I'd say no.

Doesn't look like a travel to me when I watch it at full speed.

It's really hard to tell. But he gets from the three point line to the basket. It's insane. I just don't think that's possible, athletic or not.

As Clyde Drexler has always said, "It's not traveling if you make it look good".

Corey Brewer picks up ball above the 3 point line on a fast break.

Looks like he takes 6-7 steps.

It's hard to tell when he actually grabs the ball the final time. Several of the steps after his last dribble are definitely taken while he's not in contact with the ball, which is ok. Looks to me like he picked it up early though.

How are officials not calling this? Is it possible they just don't even know what it is anymore?
