Never played in a keeper league and don't know if it's possible to join in the middle of one, but if you have any openings and it's possible I would like to join. If it doesn't work that way no big deal. Just thought I would express my interest. Thanks

and also did we ever establish a rule on keeping the same player consecutive years?

For instance, does the guy that picked up Trout get to "keep" him each year for a 23rd draft round draft pick or did we establish something else. I seem to remember this coming up last year but I could be wrong. I agree with points on both sides of this argument so I'm more curious than anything.

Note: I realize that whoever has Trout does get to keep him this year for the 23rd round draft pick. It's just the example I thought of off the top of my head for future years.

I thought we had said max 5 keepers? And I honestly don't know if we ever resolved that particular issue. I'm up for suggestions.

It was set at 5 last year. I'm ok with keeping it at that.

And I'm ok with keeping the original draft position for keepers. I think it requires more strategy, and it will help to cycle some of the bigger players, i.e. I drafted Adrian Gonzalez in the 1st round 2 years ago, but I'm not going to keep him this year because I don't think he's a first round player anymore. And if you hit on a guy like Trout, good for you.

Update: We have 4 spots open, if anyone knows Nuke Laloosh, Taytrox34, and The John Ross Ewings tell them to join up. Otherwise we will have their 3 spots open plus one more.

Alright, consider the league filled. I have the draft set for the 24th but that can be changed to accommodate everyone. Remember you have the option to retain up to 5 keepers from last years team, so be looking at that because I need to confirm all keepers before the draft.

I'm in London for the semester and was hoping we could move the draft up a couple of hours. Currently I think the draft is set for 8:30 central. If it was cool with everybody to move that time up to around 6 I would really appreciate it. If not, that's fine too. I'll either just suck it up and stay up or set my pre-draft rankings.

I will be working until 7. So will the friend I listed. If the draft stays on that date it will have to be after 7 for us.
