Chad Curtis sentenced to 7-15 years

This whole thing just doesn't set well with me.

I haven't followed the case closely, so let me know if I've missed something.

I don't know if he is guilty... I don't know if this was isolated or chronic.

Assume he was guilty of what is bolded. I was dating a girl, who ended up getting forcibly raped by two guys we worked with. One guy held, while the other had his way. Then they swapped.

I don't think they got 3 years.

I'm not sure what he means:

Something tells me... in 2-3 years when he gets out... and those girls are 18, there will be some interesting stories and he was innocent.

I could be wrong. It is just pretty scary that you could go to prison for 5+ years for touching two girl's buttocks.

If I'm innocent, I'm being arrested for being in contempt 5x per day bc I'm screaming my head off at the defendants.

something tells you he was innocent? in a story you say you haven't followed? what could possibly make you think that?

and he didn't go to jail for 5 years for just touching two girls buttocks. pretty sad you even claim that given you posted that he did more.

there was also evidence he put his hands up a girls spandex and touched her genitals.

this guy was working in a school preying on young girls. sounds like he got what he deserved

A volunteer at a local high school feeling up students doesn't set well with me either.

I haven't followed this case at all, either, so I'm not trying to defend him here. But...

Is there any evidence or witnesses to this case, or is he going to prison strictly based on the accusations of the victims? If there isn't any evidence to support these claims, then I would be extremely uncomfortable with this ruling as well.

Obviously, the accusations are pretty severe, so if there is evidence, then by all means, lock his ass up. But if it's just a he said vs she said deal, then that is pretty scary IMO

Where did I say he was innocent. I said "I don't know if he is guilty." I also said "Assume he was guilty of what is bolded."

He was deemed a "predator" which I suspect meant the touching and kissing of breast of one girl, was a greater issue, due to the number of additional people. In the case of the subsequent two... it was touching of their buttocks.

Mistake #1. WTH is he doing giving a female a massage?!

We have plenty of volunteer coaches at the private school my kids attend. I don't have a problem with schools leveraging them. A pro athlete of 10 years likely doesn't need the money... and could provide plenty of insight.
HOWEVER, dumbest thing any guy can do next to coaching females... giving them a massage.

Creepy? YES. REAL. Stupid? Yes.

That's something a teenage boy might offer to a teenage girl... not a grown man... certainly not a coach.

You said something tells you we will find out when the girls are 18 he's innocent.

There's no reason at all to think that. None.
