I think we often forget what many of these guys go through.

I know Martin Perez signed his contract this Fall. It was a multi-year deal and his reaction was "Now I can bring my family from Venezuela. This is my home, now."

In Perez 's contract was an additional million to move his entire family to the US and get them settled. That tells you what the Rangers think of him as well as how awful it is for the players and their families. Think how much of a relief that is to him.
