Never seen this in its entirety. The best I've ever seen was the ESPN Top 10 fights video and that's just the opening few seconds. This is the whole ordeal. Didn't realize the stoppage was a full five minutes with a whole other fight.

This has always been a basic lesson of "don't start a fight unless you are willing to commit". You can almost see the "WTF am I doing?" thought swirl in Ventura's mind just as he gets to Ryan, so he goes for the bearhug probably hoping they'd dance around a bit until the herd breaks them up. Problem was a tough old coot was waiting for him ready to dish out some punishment.

If pudge and Deano would've done their jobs and kept people off Nolan he would've killed Ventura.

At the 2:00 mark he is being held back. Then when you see him at the 3:00 he is coming away with everyone else and looks disheveled.

I had no idea that the Ventura’s pinch runner was picked off after the fight and then Nolan threw 4 2/3 of no-hit ball until he got pulled before the 8th.

I had forgotten that it was Nolan's last season. He won 2 more games after that. 46 years old in that video!
