MLB is in the process of posting their 2014 Prospect watch.

The Rangers have done well in the positions:

C (# 3): Jorge Alfaro (20 - 2016) @ A+ Myrtle Beach in 2013
1B (#10): Ronald Guzman (19-2016) @ A Hickory in 2013
2B (# 2): Rougned Odor (19-2016) @ AA in 2013
3B (# 9): Joey Gallo (20 - 2016) @ A Hickory in 2013
SS (# 9): Luis Sardinas (20 - 2015) @ AA in 2013

Pitching? Not so much.

I've mentioned some of the OFs here.

DMN has run an article on prospects and lists OF'ers Brinson, Williams and Beras in the Rangers Top 10. I thought Brinson would be MLB Top 10 OF...not so.

Top 100 was released.

Alfaro - 39th
Odor - 59th
Choice - 72nd
Sardinas - 76th
Gallo - 92nd

Of note...

CJ Edwards - 42nd (Traded from Rangers to Cubs)
Escobar - 95th (Traded from Rangers to SF)

Astros: 8th, 17th, 21st, 50th, 52, 54, 66

Cubs: 7th, 9th, 18th, 89, 100th

Boston: 2, 30, 33, 46, 57, 61, 62, 86, 96th
NYY: 47, 75

That's 28 of the hundred from 5 teams. Lots of KC and Dodgers.

4 of the 5 Rangers could be back on the list in 2015. Perez (22) and Profar (20) both transitioned in 2013 to Arlington. Imagine them added with CJEdwards and Escobar...

Boston looks ready to go ... Houston on the bubble.

Surprised Gallo's raw didn't place him higher on that list.
